The Comet Prometheus
In 1933 a re-examination of photographic plates taken at the Lowell Observatory in the 20s and early 30s revealed the existence of a large, fast-moving object in the outer Solar System. Moving too fast and in the wrong part of the sky to be a planet, it was considered a comet.

After calculating its sun-grazing orbit, a scientific committee suggested the name Prometheus which is the name that stuck in the public mind when the object began to make the news.

It's still called Comet Prometheus today when its nature is better understood though much disputed. And CP is the symbol used for Prometheus in astronomical references.

One day, the Grandfather led his Granddaughter to a lone Sequoia Red wood standing in the woods. The Grandfather laid out a picnic for them to eat as his Granddaughter got ready for a swim. Under her shorts and top was her girls swimsuit.

The Adventures of Lizzie Jane is my baby. I never expect to write anything else like it and I hope that all of you and everyone else will accept the newly revised version. When I read it, I can see places where I put my heart and soul into the story.

Morning had broken.

Saw her standing there.

"What's it like outside?" she asked.

"Total bright sun -- something like a desert."

"Oh yeah."

"You know," she said, struggling with the granola bar wrapper, "if they made things easier to open, I know a lot of people who would be very happy"

 One Day, there were two friends sitting down to eat in a local cafe. When Dinner was ordered, they began to talk.

"Well Tommy, it looks like your operation went well."

I have just completed and posted the final chapters of the revised "Adventures of Lizzie Jane".

There are 20 chapters, broken up into 6 parts -- each part being a story that will stand alone except Chapter 6, which goes into Chapter 7.

A SHORT CON

Synopsis*

Commander John Carter; Executive Officer of the Patrol Cruiser Aztec was on shore leave with Crewman Bronson who attacks a beautiful spacer woman along with his fellow crew members.. Carter defends the woman only to find out that she is an Adapted woman and that she is known .

 Just a dumb little tourist trap I went to a few times as a kid...

So why do I keep having nightmares about it? 

In the far future, human have colonized the galaxy. Many planets called for the adaptation of the body to meet the conditions of the planet and in some cases, mutations happened as the populace adapted to the new environs.

 I don't talk to trees ... honest. At least, I'd never admit to talking to them. But if I were the kind of girl who might find herself talking to an old oak tree on a chilly fall morning, asking why its leaves were falling off, and if that tree decided to answer me, this is the story the tree might have told me.
